I am proud to announce that one of the key architects and developers of the team from Eva Kühn will join us for the session on space based computing, a session we have at the architect conference tagged for parallel computing.
The session: Scalable Computing from Multi-Core to Multi-Site with the Application Space
The speakers: Prof. Dr. Eva Kühn, Ralf Westfal and Thomas Scheller
As Thomas worked out all the architectural details based on the visions from Ralf and Eva, he will talk about the architectural and technical details of the application space developed with the Concurrency and Coordination Runtime originally introduced with the Microsoft Robotics Studio. This is definitely going to be a great session! Don't miss it!
Here are more details on Thomas as a new speaker joining us at our conference:
Thomas Scheller, Vienna University of Technology
Thomas Scheller is a Ph.D. student at the Computer Science Faculty at Vienna University of Technology. There he works at the Space Based Computing group lead by eva Kühn.
His research focuses on parallel and distributed computing with .Net, and on evaluation of software complexity.
He is one of the master minds behind the Application Space (www.xcoordination.com), a middleware for asynchronous, parallel and distributed applications, based on Microsoft's CCR (Communication and Concurrency Runtime). In addition to that, Thomas is working on solutions in the logistics domain, where he has gained profound experiences with many different .Net technologies.
